# ET-Band Dimensional Thaw Mock Data Challenge v1

Synthetic stochastic gravitational-wave background spectra: BBH foreground with optional locked dimensional-thaw component.

## Locked benchmark

- \(f_* = 50\) Hz, \(n_{IR} = 0\), \(n_{UV} = 4\), \(q_{UV}^* = 3\)
- Thaw: flat below \(f_*\), \((f/f_*)^4\) at \(f \ge f_*\)
- \(\Omega_* = M \cdot \Omega_{PI}(50\,\mathrm{Hz})\) with tiers A/B/C (0.3, 1.0, 3.0)

## PI envelope

Public `pi_curve.csv` uses \(\Omega_{PI}(f) = 2.5\times 10^{-11} (f/50\,\mathrm{Hz})^{0.2}\) (dimensionless \(\Omega_{GW}\)), evaluated on the official grid.

## Blind release

`public/datasets/dataset_001.csv` … `dataset_100.csv`: 50 null, 50 signal; labels in `metadata/hidden_truth.csv` (organizers only).

This is a methodological mock, not an established cosmological claim.
